Colour your way to a family day out
The Tourist Information Centre is looking for colourful pictures from children to show what they like to do in Norwich and Norfolk during the school holidays. It can be a place, an event, real or imaginary.
Post your pictures to the Tourist Information Centre, c/o The Forum, Millenium Plain, Norwich NR2 1TF, or bring them in person to their new temporary home in the Assembly House just across the street from the Forum. The most original entries will be displayed from 1 August 2008.
Strikers from Norwich City Branch made the front page of the Norwich Evening News today - and there was further media interest from TV and radio crews at the rally held on Hay Hill this lunchtime.
A press release has been issued by the branch today regarding the 48 hour strike action commencing tomorrow and the rally organised for tomorrow at 1pm at Hay Hill.

The Norwich City Branch Committee is holding a meeting on Tuesday lunchtime at 12.30pm.
This meeting is specifically about the pay issue and the upcoming strike action on Wednesday and Thursday. All members are invited to attend, find out more and ask any question they may have.
Show your support and join your fellow Unison members on the picket lines
Pickets will be positioned at the entrances to Norwich City Council buildings, including City Hall, Swanton Road, Motum Road and Pilling Park area offices on Wed 16 and Thurs 17 July.
Unison Norwich City Branch has organised a rally at 1pm on Wednesday 16 July - the first of the two strike days.
We are asking members of all unions, their friends and families to come along and show their support for our pay campaign and the strike action we are taking to win fair pay.
In the run-up to the strike on 16 & 17 July, membership of new Local Government employees has increased significantly.
