The Norwich City branch recruitment drive held from Mon 1 to Thurs 4 December has been hailed a success at raising awareness of the branch and recruiting new members.

Successes from the week include:

  • 7 locations with non-City Hall based staff were visited, some of which do not have on-site stewards
  • More than 300 entries were received for our free prize draw (see picture and list below for prize winners)
  • More than 300 information packs were given out to interested employees
  • Hundreds of staff, both members and non-members, visited our stall in Logan’s café on Wed 3 and Thurs 4 Dec to talk about Unison and the Norwich City branch (and receive their free hot drink, courtesy of the branch).
  • Achieving a large number of new members in the week, plus an extra steward and a workplace contact.
