Pay claim 2010/11 submitted

The pay claim for 2009/10 has recently been finished, with back pay and 1% increase received in our October pay packets.
To try and reach a quick settlement that can be finalised by next April, the NJC (Unison, Unite and GMB) has already submitted the claim for 2010/11.
The claim is for:
- a £500 flat rate increase or 2.5% - whichever is the greater
The claim is for one year only and is made separately to the claim for improvements to green book conditions.

Negotiations are expected to start in January and we hope for a speedy conclusion this year!
